“Miles to go before I sleep” : Kudrat

Quadratillo Habibullaevich Yuldoshev (hope I spelt his name right)... We call him Kudrat. He treats us like his kids and we let him be our father. After all father rules the house and nature (Kudrat) rules the Universe. So he rules anyways  :-P ...Jokes apart..no no... SAS-9 people can take me seriously because we are answerable to father /nature... I don’t know if I am making any sense... Ok Ok lemme introduce him.. I mean describe him.. I mean writing an essay on him.. Do you guys  remember those school days when we were asked to write essays on nature..???  :-P There goes my essay .. Read what I have to tell about our Nature (Kudrat of SAS-9).

Kudrat is an astronomer from Uzbekistan and has profound knowledge of his work. No wonder I never got much interest in Astronomy and I don’t even understand his work on Open Clusters etc. But whatever he speaks seems really very astonishing and intelligent to me. He is a language – geek and I always admire him for his quick – witted computer skills.

Age is just a number for him. He is much senior to me but he might be 50 times more active and efficient than me. He is always involved in learning new things. May it be computer application or cooking.. or anything. He is a real Enthusiast.  I’ve seen that child like glitter in his eyes when he gets to learn something new. He looks like a curious teddy bear with his eyes wide open when something new is happening around. He is the cutest amongst all guys of our batch. He has two kids but many times I wonder how wonderful his wife would be feeling having three kids around.  One big - cute baby and two little ones.

He is also one of the owls of our batch. His tini-vini eyes hardly gets sleep. He is a 24×7 guy of our group. He can be approached any time of the day and he would be ready to help. During Ooty trip when I was vomiting to the intestines stretching extent, he sat besides me to comfort me even though I was smelling awful due to vomit soiled clothes. He took care of me like his little sister. After that he always carried my luggage in rest of the trip so that I can roam around freely.  He is Santa of our group and wants to see everyone happy. He puts lots of efforts in entertaining us with his  jokes and riddles. Apart from that he is favourite amongst the group for his outstanding photographic skills. Many of my best pictures during the course are clicked by him.

He lives life on his conditions. I’ve always seen him doing what he likes to do. I really appreciate his spirit of making full of every moment of life that too the way he wishes to. One would be really astonished to see him dance with full energy during our G2G parties. I can’t stop myself applauding for him when he takes full charge of the dance floor.

And yes ... The most important thing.. He is a philosopher too. I can’t forget that day when he quoted Socrates in the PRL lawn.

Hats off to your spirit of living.. Have a twinkling, sparkling and glittering Life.. aahaaan no need for wishes ..... After all Nature Rules and it always will....  :-)

5 life lessons I learnt from my Dad

People who know me closely are aware of Tom & Jerry kind of relationship between me and my father. Off course no relationship is perfect and me and my papa is best example of that. Fighting, blaming, taunting, arguing, debating and stop talking are common events between us. Our relationship has a Kabhi-Khushi-Kabhi-Gam type of history but as I grew up I started accepting him the way he is and I realized that my papa is a jewel. I can learn several things from him. Its just that I’ve to deal with his quirkiness sometimes. List is long but here I want to share 5 most important things I learnt from him.   Accepting simplicity as a lifestyle :-  Being born in TV era, as a kid I was also very influenced by the virtual world very far from reality. I had aspirations like having very good clothes and to be richest person on the planet so that I could buy all the luxuries for myself. But I am a transformed person now. I see my papa, he has very minimal necessities for surv...

The Fast-Fast Girl: Taran

When I first met Taran, I thought,   she is a girl of one such kind who might have lots of air in her head. I don’t know why I have such first time notion for pretty girls... It’s my problem.   Believe me, Taran is extremely pretty but in no time after being with her, I had to erase all my preoccupied notions.. she prospers with inner beauty equally.   She has wonderful heart (full of love and care) and she is beyond the shallow thoughts of trying to hurt any1.    One cannot miss mummy when Taran is around. You have a problem?? She has a reasonable solution ready. You are hungry?? She can cook any simple/complicated dish for you in just few minutes. You have headache, backache etc?? She gives awesome massage and can make your ache, fake in few minutes. She talks utmost sweetly, it will be so relaxing that u’ll forget your worries in seconds.   She has wide knowledge of beauty and health, listening to her tips is sooo irresistible. She is good at a...

PJ King : Chintan Jethva

Suppose you are in a strange land with no known people around you and coincidentally you find a person from your place (country/state/city) whom you had never met before. Only thing you know about him/her is that he/she is from your land. At once you’ll be friends with that person and a fabric of trust will connect you both immediately. This is exactly how I felt when I first met this extremely crazy person; Chintan. Being only kid at home I always missed those funny sibling rivalries. Though, I requested all neighbourhood guys in my society to be my brothers so that on Rakshabandhan day I can earn some gifts. Growing up playing with them was ultimate childhood experience but they never fought with me.  So I was pretty hopeless of finding a part time sibling to fight with, unless I met Tin Tin.  Yes. That is how I shout at Chintan.         Cartoon-giri This guy is extremely moody. No one in SAS-9 is spared experiencing Tin T...
