Zindagi....


Jab kholi aankhe pehli baar
Kuchh naye saaz kuchh nayi aawaz
Kuchh naya sa tha yeh jahaan rangeen
Tab ehsaas hua kuchh toh hai yeh Zindagi!!

Jab maa ki ungli thame chale kadam chaar
Jab papa ke kandho par soye kitni hi baar
Jab badhta har din dada dadi ka pyaar
Tab mehsoos hua kuchh pyari si hai Zindagi!!

Jo aankhe hamesha maa ko dhundhti thi woh apna waqt kitaabon ke saath bi baatne lagi
Jo haath shararato ke baad kaan pakadte the woh ab kalam pakadne lage
Jo khilono se hum khela karte the pure din woh humare khel ka hissa bannne ko tarasne lage
Tab janne lage haan kuchh toh hai yeh Zindagi!!

Haan jee toh chahta hai maa tere paas rahu sada par kuchh majbooriyan Teri bhi hai kuchh meri bhi
Haan jee toh karta hai kagaz ki naav firse barish mein bahaye par ab kuchh aasu baha lete hai aur kuchh yaadein bhi
Haan jee toh chahta hai waqt ko bhulakar kuchh pal joro se hans le par kuchh boj hai lafzo par bhi aur kuchh dil par bhi
Ab jaanne lage hai kya hai tu Zindagi!!

Suppose you are in a strange land with no known people around you and coincidentally you find a person from your place (country/state/city) whom you had never met before. Only thing you know about him/her is that he/she is from your land. At once you’ll be friends with that person and a fabric of trust will connect you both immediately. This is exactly how I felt when I first met this extremely crazy person; Chintan. Being only kid at home I always missed those funny sibling rivalries.
